Dr. Andrew T Draper iDr. Andrew T. Draper is the founding senior pastor of Urban Light Community Church in Muncie, IN, a ministry committed to reconciliation and community development. Dr. Draper is assistant professor of theology at Taylor University, where he also directs the Honors Guild. Dr. Draper’s scholarly work has focused on theological race theory and his work as a practitioner on racial reconciliation.
Related interests are identity issues such as gender and disability. His first book, A Theology of Race and Place, is available from Wipf and Stock Publishers. Dr. Draper lives with his family on the urban south-side of post-industrial Muncie. His wife, Leslie, is principal of Inspire Academy, an urban public charter school, and they have 2 boys: Aidan and Alister.
